We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team at Soul Mantra — a soulful café in Bir, Himachal Pradesh , known for good food, live music, and community vibes. Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in preparation of multi-cuisine dishes (Indian & Continental focus) Manage chopping, marination, prep work, and plating during service hours. Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and inventory. Support food safety protocols and reduce wastage. Coordinate with café floor staff to ensure smooth service. Qualifications Passion for cooking and learning; prior kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory Basic understanding of ingredients, cleanliness, and time management Willingness to work in a fast-paced café environment Team-player with a calm attitude and respect for co-workers Must be open to learning and following kitchen standards Perks Monthly salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 based on experience.
