Position Overview: - We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Technology to reshape the entire educational ecosystem to be more agile, technology-driven, and student-centric. - The Solutions Architect will lead and manage the seamless migration of technology systems, applications, and data across various platforms and environments across Ekya Schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing cutting-edge technologies to transform products and drive innovation. Quick Snapshot - Key Responsibilities Solution Design: Work with business leaders and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Design comprehensive system architectures, including integration points, data flows, and infrastructure needs. Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, and security requirements. Technical Leadership: - Lead the technical direction and development of complex solutions across various technology stacks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. - Provide hands-on guidance for implementation teams, ensuring alignment with architectural decisions.- Prepared detailed architecture blueprints and migration road maps- Support the teams throughout the migration journey, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime- Encourage teams to transition from traditional file storage to Cloud ERP, enhancing scalability and reducing storage costs- Focus on implementing best practices in cloud security, performance optimization, and cost management- Migration of on-premises databases to Cloud ERP resulting in improved scalability and cost efficiency- Improve application performance and scalability by adopting GCP-native services- Enhanced data security and compliance by integrating Cloud ERP's security features- Good reference to the technologies involved in the integration process, such as programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python), frameworks, or platforms that support API interactions. Stakeholder Communication: - Communicate technical solutions to the leadership team and other non-technical stakeholders, helping them understand the implications of different design decisions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment and buy-in across departments. Best Practices & Standards: - Ensure that design and development adhere to industry standards, best practices, and security policies.- Continuously evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to improve architecture and design practices. Risk Management: - Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in system designs, and implement risk mitigation strategies.- Assess the impact of changes and new technologies on existing systems and processes. Documentation & Reporting: - Produce detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams and specifications, to guide the implementation process.- Present technical proposals and design reviews to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: - Evaluate current migration processes and methodologies, recommending improvements or new approaches to streamline and optimize future migrations.- To stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on educational institutions.- To foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to support technological advancements in teaching, research, and administration. Key Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Software Development or IT Infrastructure.Proven experience with designing and deploying enterprise-level solutions in cloud ERP environments.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.. Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of system architecture, including cloud computing, databases, microservices, and integration patterns.- Experience with various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) and frameworks.- Familiarity with API design, security protocols, and integration strategies.- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.- Understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy considerations in system design.

By handling architectural and design problems with extreme professional acumen, you deliver a positive problem-solving experience to the customers. The position will report directly to the Vice President of Customer Solutions in Business Development and will be based remotely i n Chennai or Bangalore India.
