Responsibilities

• Design secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for the program
• Define and support execution of the technology strategy for products
• Collaborate with global Solution Architecture and Engineering teams
• Engage with Architecture and Technology teams to align with technical strategies
• Support development teams and promote agile practices
• Create a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Research and evaluate technical solutions to meet business needs
• Drive software implementation using expertise in microservices for fintech
• Partner with technical and product leaders to deliver designs
• Collaborate with development teams, operations, and product owners
• Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Act as the primary architect and advocate with program groups

Requirements

• Experience in product engineering with over 15 years in software design
• Foundation in Computer Science fundamentals with a focus on web applications
• Background in architecting high transaction volume financial systems
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in designing global-scale back-end microservices using Java
• Understanding of storage technologies such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies and best practices like Kubernetes
• Strong desire to collaborate and mentor technology teams
• Capability to build prototypes for complex business challenges
• Level of English proficiency to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Relentless self-starter who works efficiently to meet objectives
• Advocate for technical excellence and best practices
