Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect specializing in Snowflake at CitiusTech, you will have a pivotal role in designing, constructing, and sustaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. Your work will involve a diverse range of technologies such as Scala, Python, Spark, AWS services, and SQL, all aimed at supporting our data processing and analytics requirements. **Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define the scope of enhancements and development projects, and gather detailed requirements. - Utilize your expertise in ETL/ELT processes and tools to devise and implement data pipelines that meet business needs. - Offer technical guidance to address complex business challenges, translating them into data integration and database systems designs. - Upgrade and modernize existing legacy ETL jobs for Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. - Assess current ETL jobs to identify opportunities for creating reusable patterns and components to accelerate future development. - Develop and implement a configuration-driven Data Ingestion framework to facilitate efficient onboarding of new source tables. - Work alongside cross-functional teams, including business analysts and solution architects, to align data engineering initiatives with business objectives. - Drive continuous improvement efforts by enhancing data engineering processes, tools, and frameworks. - Uphold compliance with data quality, security, and privacy standards throughout all data engineering activities. - Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code. - Prepare and present technical documentation, encompassing data flow diagrams, ETL specifications, and architectural designs. **Experience:** - 8 - 10 Years **Location:** - Pune - Chennai **Educational Qualifications:** - Engineering Degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc) - Cloud certifications (AWS, etc.) and relevant technical certifications in multiple technologies are desirable. **Mandatory Technical Skills:** - Strong experience in Snowflake with involvement in development and migration projects. - Proficiency in ETL tools (Matillion/DBT/Fivetron/ADF preferred). - Skilled in SQL writing, including flatten tables and JSON experience, with the ability to write complex queries. - Sound understanding of SQL queries, Python coding, deployment in Snowflake data warehousing, and pipelines. - Experience in working with large databases. - Familiarity with AWS (S3, KMS, etc.) or Azure/GCP. - Competence in Snowflake, Python/Spark/JavaScript, AWS/Azure/GCP. **Good to have skills:** - CI/CD (DevOps) - Terraform/Airflow At CitiusTech, we are dedicated to combining the best of IT services, consulting, products, accelerators, and frameworks with a client-first approach and a thorough understanding of next-gen technologies.
