Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and structures, specifically tanks and pressure vessels. Create fabrication drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions. Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency. Optimize existing designs for performance and cost-efficiency. Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and safety regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications:Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, solid modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor). Strong experience in sheet metal design, with a focus on fabrication of tanks and pressure vessels. Ability to prepare accurate and detailed fabrication drawings. Good understanding of welding, tolerances, GD&T, and material selection. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred:Knowledge of ASME standards. Experience working with ERP systems for BOM and drawing integration.
