Implement Lean and Six Sigma practices to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Identify and lead automation opportunities, including tooling, fixtures, and semi-automated assembly systems. Supplier Coordination: Partner with suppliers to ensure components meet technical, quality, and delivery requirements. Conduct process capability studies and support supplier qualification and onboarding efforts. Review and approve supplier process documentation, such as control plans and flow diagrams. Support failure analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions for supplier quality issues. Collaborate with procurement and quality teams to improve supplier performance and reduce overall cost of ownership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in solar, automotive, or electronics industries. Solid understanding of assembly processes for electrical components, wiring, and enclosures. Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and data analysis software. Familiar with industry standards and certifications (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach to troubleshooting and process improvement. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in renewable energy or solar component manufacturing. Knowledge of supplier development, auditing, and qualification processes. Familiarity with ERP and MES systems. Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement training. Job Purpose: To design, develop, evaluate, and improve packaging solutions for cosmetic our products ensuring functionality, aesthetic appeal, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and regulatory compliance aligned with brand and market requirements. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Packaging Development & Design Design innovative, user-friendly, and attractive packaging for skincare, haircare, personal care, and colour cosmetics products. Create packaging specifications, 3D drawings, BOMs, and artworks in coordination with design teams. ✅ Material Selection & Evaluation Select appropriate materials (plastics, glass, laminates, cartons) ensuring compatibility with formulations and shelf-life requirements. Conduct compatibility and stability studies with QA, R&D, and production teams. ✅ Supplier Coordination Liaise with packaging vendors for sampling, development, and approvals. Evaluate and qualify new packaging suppliers as per company standards. ✅ Cost Optimization Analyze and suggest cost-effective packaging solutions without compromising quality or aesthetics. ✅ Regulatory Compliance Ensure all packaging materials and designs meet local and international regulatory standards (e.g. CPCB, FDA, BIS, sustainability norms). ✅ Testing & Quality Checks Conduct transit trials, drop tests, leakage tests, and functionality assessments to ensure robustness and consumer safety. ✅ Sustainability Initiatives Drive eco-friendly packaging initiatives aligned with brand sustainability goals (PCR usage, recyclable/biodegradable materials). ✅ Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, R&D, Production, QA, and Procurement teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
