We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities, with a focus on strategizing to secure cost-effective deals and reliable suppliers. Your responsibilities will include finding innovative ways to reduce procurement costs, enabling the company to invest in growth and talent. You should possess a minimum of 10-15 years of experience as a Senior Manager in the Purchase department within the Plastic Industry. A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is required for this role. The job location is in Pitampura, Delhi, and the salary range is between 50,000 to 100,000 INR. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing purchasing strategies. Monitoring key metrics to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses will be a crucial part of your role. Crafting negotiation strategies, forecasting market trends, and identifying changes in buyer-supplier dynamics are essential tasks you will undertake. Your duties will include procuring various categories of raw materials such as Polymer Pigments & Additives and overseeing inventory forecasting for critical raw materials. You will review procurement plans, approve indents, negotiate terms and prices with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of crucial materials. Managing import/export logistics, liaising with vendors, and exploring new product development opportunities are also part of your responsibilities. Regularly attending international exhibitions and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and market requirements is expected. Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, engaging with industry associations, and participating in sales promotion activities are key aspects of this role. To excel in this position, you must possess solid judgment, negotiation skills, and effective leadership capabilities. Fluency in English is required, along with the willingness to travel abroad for business purposes.
