For a CAD/CAM Trainer, proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar programs is essential. You should be able to create 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings, along with knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). As a VMC Milling Manager in the Production / Machining department of the Aerospace Precision Components industry, located in Jigani/Bommasandra Bangalore, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of precision aerospace machined parts using 4th and 5th axis VMC milling. With 8-15 years of experience at the Manager level, you will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end VMC milling operations, leading New Product Development (NPD) activities, and supervising CNC programmers. Your expertise in Solid CAM and Catia software is mandatory for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage VMC milling operations with 4th & 5th axis capabilities for aerospace components. - Lead NPD activities from concept to production, including feasibility, process design, and pilot runs. - Supervise CNC programmers for efficient tool path creation and optimal machining strategies. - Review and validate CNC programs, process sheets, tool selections, and fixtures for high-complexity aerospace parts. - Coordinate daily production to ensure timely delivery, high quality, and cost efficiency. - Develop process improvements for cycle time reduction and productivity enhancement. - Maintain strong client relationships; interact with customers on technical requirements, approvals, and queries. - Collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to meet tight project deadlines. - Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer specifications, and quality norms. - Train and mentor the programming and machining teams to upgrade skills and meet production goals. - Prepare production reports, MIS, and project status updates for management. Cam Machining Engineer Knowledge of programming in solid cam on 3D mechanical steel and fabricated components suitable for all kind CNC machines. VMC , VTL , Turning centers . Preference to person having knowledge of machining precision components in steel aluminium and castings of medium and large size Ability to understand 2 D drawings and make cam programs directly for 2D operation alsoRole & responsibilities .
