Position: Executive Formulation SCM Location: Hyderabad Department: Formulation Supply Chain Management Reporting To: Assistant Manager Formulation SCM Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. / B. Pharm / M. Pharm from a reputed college/university. Minimum 25 years of experience in procurement of Raw Materials and Packing Materials related to the Formulations business , preferably for R&D and Exhibit batches . Strong exposure to procurement processes for Solid Dosage Forms, Injectables, Ophthalmic, and RLD products . Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory . Key Job Responsibilities: Liaise with Production, R&D, Project Management, Marketing/BD teams to understand procurement requirements. Ensure timely procurement in alignment with quality standards and delivery timelines . Review and process Purchase Requisitions . Send RFQs/RFIs , evaluate vendor quotes, and carry out effective negotiations . Create Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP and follow up for timely deliveries. Identify, develop, and onboard new vendors . Ensure vendor compliance with quality standards and timelines. Conduct cost analysis and contribute to cost optimization initiatives . Maintain a robust supplier base and manage vendor audits/visits . Coordinate with RA teams by arranging LOAs for specific market requirements. Arrange samples and collect vendor qualification documents during development. Compile, analyze, and report procurement data as required. Desired Skills: Strong communication and attention to detail . Proficient in planning, procurement, and negotiation . Excellent command over MS Excel and SAP .
