About the Company Solberry Energy Pvt. Limited , a subsidiary of InSolare Energy Pvt. Limited , is scaling up. We’re installing an 800 MW Topcon line (Project Phase-I) to have a total capacity of 900 MW by Nov’2025. In Phase-II , we plan to ramp up further to reach a total of 1.7 GW installed capacity . Role Overview As our Head – Maintenance & Utilities , the incumbent will lead practical, on-the-ground installation & commissioning of new machines along with maintenance of both production equipment and utilities, ensuring >98% uptime, smooth commissioning of the new Topcon line, and an expansion-readied facility by 2026. Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance Operations & Expansion Support Keep uptime of module line equipment—stringers, layup stations, laminators, framing, IV/EL testers, Hi-Pot, and the packing line and other associated equipment & services. Guide maintenance during commissioning of the 800 MW Topcon line; ensure seamless ramp-up to 1.7 GW capacity. Oversee plant utilities—HVAC, compressed air, vacuum systems, chillers, boilers, DG sets, ETP/STP—and their scalability as capacity grows. 2. Reliability & Continuous Improvement Use RCA to address breakdowns and deploy corrective actions. Introduce TPM tools and preventive maintenance schedules; drive performance toward ≥98% line uptime. Support automation and PLC/SCADA/MES upgrades, along with IoT-enabled condition monitoring. Work along with Head- operations to create a culture of continual improvement (Kaizen and 5S) to improve MTTR and MTBF. Train and build the team for autonomous maintenance. 3. Team & Vendor Leadership Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and technicians across electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation functions by driving TPM philosophy. Manage AMCs, coordinate vendors, and optimize spare-parts. Train team in safety, lean maintenance practices, and prepare them for the Topcon commissioning. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure maintenance functions adhere to EHS norms, ISO standards, and cleanroom protocols. Maintain audit-ready documentation. Drive energy-efficiency initiatives and utility cost optimizations especially as capacity scales. Qualifications & Experience B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering 15+ years of maintenance experience in industrial settings, including 5 years in managerial roles Familiarity with solar module production, preferably Topcon technology, or in adjacent sectors like glass, electronics, or automotive manufacturing using cleanroom or continuous processes Strong grasp of PLC/SCADA systems, utilities, and on-floor troubleshooting Core Competencies Hands-on maintenance strategy and execution TPM & lean maintenance methodology Practical team management and vendor coordination Reliability indicators: uptime, MTBF, MTTR Safety, compliance, and audit readiness Adaptive: capable of handling current operations and expansion to 1.7 GW Indicative Compensation CTC:- In line with industry standards
