About the Company Solberry Energy Pvt. Limited , a subsidiary of InSolare Energy Pvt. Limited , is scaling up. We’re installing an 800 MW Topcon line (Project Phase-I) to have a total capacity of 900 MW by Nov’2025. In Phase-II , we plan to ramp up further to reach a total of 1.7 GW installed capacity . Role Overview As our Head – Maintenance & Utilities , the incumbent will lead practical, on-the-ground installation & commissioning of new machines along with maintenance of both production equipment and utilities, ensuring >98% uptime, smooth commissioning of the new Topcon line, and an expansion-readied facility by 2026. Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance Operations & Expansion Support Keep uptime of module line equipment—stringers, layup stations, laminators, framing, IV/EL testers, Hi-Pot, and the packing line and other associated equipment & services. Guide maintenance during commissioning of the 800 MW Topcon line; ensure seamless ramp-up to 1.7 GW capacity. Oversee plant utilities—HVAC, compressed air, vacuum systems, chillers, boilers, DG sets, ETP/STP—and their scalability as capacity grows. 2. Reliability & Continuous Improvement Use RCA to address breakdowns and deploy corrective actions. Introduce TPM tools and preventive maintenance schedules; drive performance toward ≥98% line uptime. Support automation and PLC/SCADA/MES upgrades, along with IoT-enabled condition monitoring. Work along with Head- operations to create a culture of continual improvement (Kaizen and 5S) to improve MTTR and MTBF. Train and build the team for autonomous maintenance. 3. Team & Vendor Leadership Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and technicians across electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation functions by driving TPM philosophy. Manage AMCs, coordinate vendors, and optimize spare-parts. Train team in safety, lean maintenance practices, and prepare them for the Topcon commissioning. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure maintenance functions adhere to EHS norms, ISO standards, and cleanroom protocols. Maintain audit-ready documentation. Drive energy-efficiency initiatives and utility cost optimizations especially as capacity scales. Qualifications & Experience B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering 15+ years of maintenance experience in industrial settings, including 5 years in managerial roles Familiarity with solar module production, preferably Topcon technology, or in adjacent sectors like glass, electronics, or automotive manufacturing using cleanroom or continuous processes Strong grasp of PLC/SCADA systems, utilities, and on-floor troubleshooting Core Competencies Hands-on maintenance strategy and execution TPM & lean maintenance methodology Practical team management and vendor coordination Reliability indicators: uptime, MTBF, MTTR Safety, compliance, and audit readiness Adaptive: capable of handling current operations and expansion to 1.7 GW Indicative Compensation CTC:- In line with industry standards

About the Role The Operations Head – Production will be responsible for end-to-end management of solar module production operations, ensuring targets are met with high efficiency, low scrap, and strict adherence to safety and quality. This role demands strong leadership in managing multi-shift operations, optimizing throughput, and preparing the production team for capacity expansion. Responsibilities Production Management Lead day-to-day planning, scheduling and operations of solar module lines (stringers, layup, laminators, EL/IV testers, Hi-Pot testers, framing & packing lines). Achieve production targets in terms of throughput, yield, and cost efficiency. Ensure >95% OEE and maintain scrap/rejection rates below defined thresholds. Process & Efficiency Optimization Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen practices across the shop floor. Monitor and improve cycle time, manpower productivity, and material utilization. Drive initiatives for automation and digitalization (MES, IoT dashboards). Manpower & Shift Planning Manage and mentor a team of shift supervisors and operators (150+ workforce). Develop manpower deployment models for current capacity and Phase-2 expansion. Build skill matrices, conduct training, and promote a culture of accountability. Quality & Compliance Ensure strict compliance with cleanroom protocols (dust, humidity, temperature). Collaborate with Quality team to achieve first-pass yield and zero-defect delivery. Maintain documentation for audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS/ISO 45001, IEC standards). Coordination & Leadership Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, SCM, and EHS teams for smooth line operations. Provide data-driven reports to Plant Head / President- Operations on production KPIs. Act as a key leader in Phase-2 expansion (to 1.7 GW), ensuring SOPs, line balancing, and workforce readiness. Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering. 10–15 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Minimum 5 years of experience in solar module preferred along with continuous/discrete manufacturing. Strong background in production planning, line balancing, and lean systems. About the Role The Shift Supervisor – Production will be responsible for managing end-to-end production operations during the assigned shift. This includes achieving production targets, maintaining quality, ensuring safety and SOP compliance, troubleshooting equipment/process issues, and controlling manpower. The role requires hands-on experience in solar module manufacturing and strong shift leadership skills. Responsibilities Production & Process Control Supervise module line operations: glass loading, stringing, layup, lamination, framing, junction box attachment, EL/IV/Hi-Pot testing, and packing. Ensure daily throughput and cycle time adherence to meet shift targets. Monitor OEE and implement corrective measures to reduce downtime and scrap. Troubleshooting & Coordination Lead first-level troubleshooting of equipment issues (mechanical/electrical/process). Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and ensure quick resolution. Address process deviations immediately to avoid quality loss. Quality & SOP Adherence Enforce compliance with process SOPs, work instructions, and quality checks.
