Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Deputy General Manager Site Head to lead the execution of a large-scale 400 MW ground-mounted solar project from inception to commissioning. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic planning, and comprehensive project management skills in the renewable energy sector, particularly in utility-scale solar installations. As the Site Head , you will be responsible for end-to-end project execution including scheduling, procurement coordination, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and quality delivery—ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in solar power project execution and strong leadership capabilities to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors across all phases of project development. Key Roles and Responsibilities To manage large-scale 400 MW ground-mounted solar project from scratch till commissioning. Preparation of L2 Schedule and scratch plan till completion and handing over of the project. Preparation of detailed Procurement Plan in consultation with Engineering & Procurement functions. Responsibilities: New Business Generation: Proactively identify and target potential customers within the industrial sector (e.g., manufacturing, energy, transportation, utilities, automation, renewables). Generate leads through various methods, including cold outreach, networking, industry research, and attending relevant events and exhibitions. Qualify leads and assess their needs for industrial router and Ethernet switch solutions. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our industrial router and Ethernet switch product portfolio, including technical specifications, features, and applications. Stay updated on new product releases and technological advancements in industrial networking. Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field) or Business Administration with a strong technical aptitude. Strong understanding of industrial networking technologies, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and network security concepts. Familiarity with industrial cellular routers (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G) and their applications in remote connectivity and M2M/IoT deployments is highly desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required. If candidate is not having the technical products knowledge, training shall be provided. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
