We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with expertise in designing high-raised industrial sheds and solar mounting structures . The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in steel structure design, be proficient in relevant design software, and have hands-on experience in working with multidisciplinary teams from concept to construction. Key Responsibilities 1. Structural Design of Industrial Sheds Design and analyze steel structures for warehouses, factory sheds, and industrial buildings. Prepare detailed designs for components like columns, rafters, trusses, purlins, sag rods, and bracings. Ensure designs comply with IS standards and client specifications. Coordinate with architects, fabricators, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution. 2. Solar Mounting Structure Design Design ground-mounted and rooftop solar support structures in steel and aluminium. Conduct wind load analysis and optimize designs for safety and cost-effectiveness. Prepare/review design calculations, layouts, and fabrication/shop drawings. Assess soil data and contribute to geotechnical analysis for foundation design. 3. Software & Tools Proficient in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and FEA Analysis tools. Use MS Excel for manual calculations and technical documentation. 4. Documentation & Coordination Develop calculation reports, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings. Review and approve vendor drawings with technical comments. Participate in technical meetings and client project reviews. Key Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in steel structural design (PEB & long-span structures). In-depth knowledge of load types wind, seismic, dead, and live loads. Familiar with IS 800, IS 875, IS 456, NBC, ASCE 7, and PV mounting structure standards. Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering. Experience in solar EPC or industrial construction firms preferred. Knowledge of fabrication techniques and erection methodologies. Awareness of renewable energy trends and structural optimization practices.
