Solar Design & Project Engineer

As a Solar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar power systems, including solar panels. Your key responsibilities will include performing site evaluations to assess roof conditions, shading, and energy consumption patterns, creating detailed design concepts and technical drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD 2D and Sketchup, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in solar technology and industry trends. You will also need to analyze technical challenges, identify root causes of design issues, and develop creative solutions. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma or BE in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Experience level can range from fresher to experienced candidates. Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of solar materials and manufacturing processes, familiarity with designing tools, and strong technical skills are essential. Experience with PVsyst software is preferred. Preferred skills for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and PVsyst, a strong background in a specific design area, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. This role may involve occasional travel to manufacturing sites or client meetings, as well as overtime to meet project deadlines.
