As a Solar Design Engineer, your role involves designing and optimizing solar power systems, including solar panels. You will be responsible for performing site evaluations, creating technical designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform site evaluations, including assessing roof conditions, shading, and energy consumption patterns. - Create detailed design concepts, 3D models, and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD 2D, Sketchup) to develop new products or improve existing ones. - Analyze technical challenges, identify root causes of design issues, and develop creative solutions. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in solar technology and industry trends. Key Qualifications: - Education: Diploma, BE in Mechanical or Electrical. - Experience: Freshers to experienced candidates are welcome. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD 2D, Sketchup). - Knowledge of solar materials and manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with designing tools. - Strong technical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. - Experience with PVsyst software is a plus. Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and PVsyst are highly desirable. - Strong background in a specific design area, such as solar systems or mechanical systems. - Willingness to work in a standard office environment with occasional travel to manufacturing sites or client meetings. - Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
