Solar Cell Quality Specialist

As a Mid to Sr. Level Management professional for Quality in a solar manufacturing company's cell unit located in Pemmanahalli Village, Sompura Hobli, Dabaspet, Nelamangala, Bengaluru - 562 111, India, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and assurance within the cell manufacturing process. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality standards are met and maintained throughout the manufacturing operations. Your key responsibilities include: Quality Management System: Develop and implement a robust quality management system for the cell unit, encompassing the establishment of quality policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Quality Standards and Metrics: Define and uphold quality standards for cell manufacturing, including setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure quality levels such as defect rates, yield rates, and customer satisfaction. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance cell manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance overall quality. Implement Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate process variations and waste. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the selection and qualification of reliable suppliers. Develop supplier quality agreements, conduct audits, and establish processes to monitor and improve supplier performance. Quality Control and Inspection: Implement effective quality control measures, including incoming material inspection, in-process inspections, and final product testing. Develop and maintain inspection procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards. Non-Conformance Management: Establish a robust system for identifying, documenting, and resolving non-conformances in the cell manufacturing process. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address root causes and prevent recurrence. Training and Education: Develop training programs to enhance the quality awareness and competencies of the cell manufacturing team. Ensure all employees are trained on quality procedures, standards, and best practices. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with relevant regulations and certifications applicable to solar cell manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and any specific certifications required. Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Certification is preferred for this role. Experience in PV Cell Fab is mandatory for this position.,
