You should be proficient in using Solidworks 3D Modelling & AutoCAD in the Sheet metal domain and Mechanical items design such as Solid Parts, Weldments, Sub-Assemblies, Assembly, Drafting, and BOMs. It is essential to execute designs according to engineering standards as per IS standards, with knowledge of GD&T and Fits. You should also be able to operate MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems. Moreover, you must have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components like Gearmotor, sensors, switches, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics. A thorough understanding of basic and advanced machine designing mechanisms, components, supporting structures, advance brought out parts, and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) is required, along with basic engineering calculations. Experience in all phases of new product development, including design prototype, R&D work, Reverse engineering, design improvement, design explanation, documentation management, and service support is preferred. A creative and passionate mindset towards creating innovative solutions is highly valued. The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision is essential for this role.,
