To qualify for this role, you should hold an M.TECH/ ME degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred, along with a strong research background demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals. Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in Agricultural Engineering research and education is necessary. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, as well as a commitment to student success, diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and industry partners is crucial for success in this role. Membership in professional organizations related to Agricultural Engineering is desirable. Ensure quality assurance of baseline data through site and laboratory visits, as applicable. Contribute to methodology development for baseline studies, especially for SE and SC. Analyze project-specific data to identify potential impacts and mitigation strategies. Assist in preparing the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and post-project monitoring framework. Ensure compliance with all Terms of Reference (ToR) issued by MoEFCC/SEIAA relevant to your functional area. Working Conditions: Empaneled / Remote / WFH and occasional visit to Chennai if required.
