Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to monitor and maintain Windows updates, security updates, and driver updates. You should also have a basic understanding of networking fundamentals such as network topology and VLAN, and be capable of troubleshooting network-related issues. In addition to technical skills, you should have experience as a computer technician or in a similar role, with knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, computer systems, and IT components. Familiarity with internet security and data privacy principles, along with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities, will be beneficial. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hardware and software troubleshooting and network configuration. Possessing relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP will be an advantage.
