Software Trainee

As a Software Trainee, your role involves reviewing current systems to identify areas for improvement, developing new software programs and applications, and modifying existing system software. You will troubleshoot and debug installed programs, establish software and hardware requirements, and work closely with other IT staff to coordinate software development and system changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, investigating and resolving reported issues, and writing technical documentation for applications. Your tasks will also include creating and deploying patches and updates, testing products in real situations before going live, and assisting in the design and implementation of IT projects. Key Responsibilities: - Review current systems and identify areas for improvement - Develop new software programs and applications, and modify existing system software - Troubleshoot and debug installed programs and applications - Establish and document software and hardware requirements - Coordinate software development and system changes with other IT staff - Develop and maintain databases - Investigate and resolve reported issues - Write and maintain technical documentation for applications - Create and deploy patches and updates - Test products in controlled, real situations before going live - Assist in the design and implementation of IT projects - Test apps previously installed in systems and reviewed by departmental representatives - Monitor system performance and coordinate software upgrades - Provide technical support to end-users Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (preferred) - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Good written and verbal communication skills - Good Knowledge of OOPS concepts - Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Fair Knowledge of coding techniques - Good work ethics - Ability and attitude to grow and learn - Ability to perform tasks/assignments on schedule and with efficiency The company offers benefits including paid time off, Provident Fund, and work from home options.
