Software Tester (ERP)

As a Software Tester (ERP), you will be responsible for the following: - Exposure to SDLC process and STLC - A systematic approach to planning and testing - Writing test cases and test plans for the project - Executing test cases/scripts - Performing Regression testing / Functional testing / Unit testing / System testing - Applying creative skills for testing techniques - Logging defects during the test execution phase - Investigating potential defects and discussing them with developers & making reports for the same - Reporting progress of software testing in accordance with schedules to Project Manager - Ensuring testing standards are met and conducting reviews - Supporting the Operational teams Qualifications required for this role: - 3+ years of experience in Client-Server and Desktop based application environments - Good knowledge in Testing Concepts - Must have testing experience in ERP / MIS / Retail / POS applications - Basic knowledge of SQL is required - Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills - Analytical skills and effective problem-solving ability - Knowledge of Test Director or Quality Center is an added advantage - Fluency in the English language; written and verbal communication skills Please note that this is a full-time position located in Ahmedabad, India.
