Software Tester

We at App2Mobile are looking for skilled testing professionals to join our team who have a passion for delivering high-quality software products and meeting customer expectations. The position involves working on manual testing to ensure the software is tested and delivered on time with high quality, working in a fast-paced and loosely structured environment.

A Typical Day at Work Includes:

• Understanding and reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive, well-structured test scenarios and test cases.
• Developing detailed test plans and test cases for

  mobile applications, web applications, and APIs

  .
• Executing various types of testing including:

• Functional, Regression, Integration, Database, API, Installation, Migration, Upgrade, Compatibility, and Performance Testing

  .
• Performing

  load and performance testing using tools like JMeter

  .
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs through to resolution.
• Conducting end-to-end and regression testing while providing timely feedback to development and product teams on the quality status.
• Generating QA-related reports such as

  defect analysis, performance metrics, and project status

  reports.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement in the QA cycle.
• Actively contributing to the

  prevention and early detection of quality issues

  throughout the software development lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with

  4-5 years of experience

  in

  manual testing

  of

  mobile and web applications

  .
• Strong experience in writing

  clear and thorough test plans and test cases

  .
• Hands-on experience in:
• Preparing test scenarios/cases and reporting defects using test management tools.

• Functional Testing

  ,

  Database Testing

  ,

  API Testing

  ,

  Integration Testing

  ,

  Migration and Upgrade Testing

  , and

  Compatibility Testing

  .

• Performance and Load Testing

  using

  JMeter

  or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of

  web and mobile application testing practices

  .
• Good debugging skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with

  manual testing methodologies

  and testing lifecycle.
• A passion for quality assurance and a drive to continuously learn and improve.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
