Software Tester

As a Manual Tester in a web-based and mobile application development environment, you will be responsible for software manual testing and related activities. You will collaborate closely with an agile development team to ensure timely delivery of projects. Your key tasks will include developing and implementing test plans, test strategy, test cases, and test reports for various types of testing such as unit, regression, and functional testing. You will also be tasked with setting up procedures for tracking and managing bugs, issues, and defects throughout the testing process. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in manual testing within web applications. A strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), software testing methodologies, and procedures is essential. Your ability to create and execute test cases in an application development environment will be crucial for success. Previous experience in testing web-based applications or enterprise-level solutions will be advantageous. Knowledge of QA testing processes and experience with bug tracking tools will be valuable assets. Additionally, good communication skills and a collaborative mindset are key attributes for this role. The educational qualifications required for this position include a B.Tech in IT, MCA, B.Sc in Computer Science, or BCA. The salary range for this position is between 18,000 to 30,000 INR.
