Software Test Engineer (Manual)

As a Software Test Engineer - Manual Tester at our company located in Ghodbunder Road, Thane, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans. You will be required to perform end-to-end testing of transaction flows encompassing API, UI, and backend validation. Additionally, you will execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing for builds/releases and collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products. Your role will also involve performing database validations using PostgreSQL queries on transactional systems, documenting test results, creating traceability matrices, and actively contributing to QA process improvement initiatives. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 1.6+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing. Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database validation and a basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman and JMeter are essential. Strong communication and documentation skills are crucial for this role. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous if you have experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium and Appium, as well as exposure to performance or security testing. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA, BCA, or a related field. This is a full-time position with a fixed shift schedule that requires proficiency in English. The work location is in person at our Thane (West) office.
