Software Test Engineer

Role Overview: As an Automation Test Engineer at Mallow Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile applications. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality product delivery through automated testing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium or any other related tool for Android and iOS mobile applications. - Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios. - Execute automated regression suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline. - Perform functional, regression, and compatibility testing for mobile platforms. - Log, track, and retest defects in Jira (or equivalent). - Support manual testing when required, focusing on exploratory and edge-case scenarios. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Appium or any other related tool (Java/Python preferred). - Good understanding of mobile testing concepts such as UI, gestures, device compatibility, and network conditions. - Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git for version control. - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Azure Boards. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in an Agile environment.
