Software Test Engineer (API Automation)

As a Software Test Engineer specializing in API automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for RESTful APIs to ensure the reliability and performance of backend services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing API automation framework and developing automated API test scripts using tools like Postman or equivalent frameworks. - Analyzing requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases. - Executing and maintaining automated test suites for continuous integration pipelines. - Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to understand API specifications and deliver high-quality software. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and providing actionable feedback. - Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile team. - Being ready to adjust work shifts as per project requirements. - Participating in special projects/assignments and performing additional tasks as assigned.
