As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer at LTIMindtree, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise-grade applications. Your expertise in C#/.NET OOPs concepts, modern automation tools, and hands-on experience in UI and API testing will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and functional testing. - Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to uphold software quality standards. - Automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for end-to-end testing. - Conduct API testing, both manual and automated, utilizing tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar frameworks. - Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance. - Analyze test results, identify bugs, and conduct root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams. - Ensure test coverage, maintainability, and scalability of automation solutions. - Contribute to the quality strategy and promote best testing practices across teams. - Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on automation and testing best practices. - Perform hands-on testing for both manual (30%) and automation (70%). **Qualifications:** - Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and proficient programming skills in C#/.NET. - Proven experience in test automation using Selenium and Playwright. - Hands-on experience with API testing and automation. - Sound knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA processes. - Experience in unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other version control and CI/CD tools. - Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter, k6, etc. - Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium, BrowserStack. - Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber. - Exposure to Cloud testing environments like Azure, AWS. - Basic knowledge of security testing concepts.
