Software Quality Principal Engineer

As an Archer employee, your role will involve reviewing, contributing to, and approving Reliability and System Test plans. You will collaborate with the LOB team to develop the Quality and Warranty Cost Reduction section for the Executive review. Additionally, you will interact with the supply base for quality improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Review, contribute to, and approve Reliability and System Test plans - Develop the Quality and Warranty Cost Reduction portion of the Executive review - Interact with the supply base for quality improvements The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: - Advanced Communication/presentation skills, enabling proactive communication with leadership or global teams and recommending options and solutions - Understanding of global components such as cultural differences, time zones, etc. - Ability to solve problems that impact project objectives, recognizing benefits, risks, and advising on solutions - Advanced understanding of technology discipline, including hardware, software, solutions, and the ability to influence team members through technical expertise - Proficiency in quality tools, data, and processes to influence design decisions and improvements within the organization - Ability to handle ambiguous situations within projects and across the organization - Consideration of the impact on customers in quality decisions - Providing input within team decisions that are impactful to customer needs and influencing project decisions with a customer viewpoint at times Qualifications Required: - Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a master's degree, or 3+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.,
