Software Quality Engineer, Management Plane Services

As a member of the Pega Cloud team at Pegasystems, you will have the opportunity to work with talented engineers and product owners globally to build a highly scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. You will play a crucial role in driving the development and execution of test strategies, test plans, and acceptance tests for features delivered by the team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members to design, develop, test, and document high-quality test specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Drive development and execution of the test strategy, test plan, and acceptance tests for features delivered by the team. - Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, and document high-quality test specifications. - Ensure all features delivered have test automation written and executed in the daily build pipelines. - Write efficient and fast executing functional test automation scripts using industry standard frameworks. - Ensure the features developed by the Agile team are thoroughly tested within sprint and release timelines. - Reduce manual testing efforts through innovative testing approaches and technologies. - Collaborate with Product Management, Development, UX design group, and stakeholders to build high-quality features. - Provide technical assistance to the team by providing reproducible environments, logs/debug information, regression use cases/test cases, and test assets/infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience developing test plans from use cases. - Strong knowledge of software testing best practices. - Strong software test experience with Selenium Java, Cucumber, TestNG, or other technologies. - Experience in testing mobile applications and web applications. - Troubleshooting, Reverse-Engineering, or Debugging skills. - Good to have skills in Security and Performance testing. - Agile/Scrum development methodology experience.,
