Job Description

You will be part of the Adobe Digital Imaging (DI) team working on Adobe Lightroom, a cloud-based service for photography enthusiasts. Your role as a Software QA Engineer will involve developing and implementing QE strategies, collaborating with development teams, designing test plans and test cases, identifying software defects, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. You will also be responsible for improving QE processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring QE metrics, and driving the adoption of automated testing tools. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to understand their workflows and needs, providing feedback and fostering a culture of quality within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive QE strategies and plans. - Collaborate with development teams and understand project requirements. - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases. - Identify, document, and track software defects and issues. - Ensure adherence to industry standards and guidelines. - Continuously improve QE processes and methodologies. - Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams. - Monitor and report on QE metrics and performance indicators. - Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks. - Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. - Work closely with customers to understand their workflows and needs. Qualifications Required: - BTech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent. - 2-4 years of hands-on software testing experience. - Experience in Android app development and testing. - Exposure to end-to-end test management and ability to work independently. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. - Knowledge of writing test plans and test management suites. - Understanding of test methodologies like functional, performance, and security testing. - Experience with bug reporting in JIRA and familiarity with bug templates. - Good analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills. - Strong Java programming skills. - Experience with Android Test frameworks like Espresso, Robotium, and UI Automator. - Hands-on experience with Android Studio, git, Jenkins, jUnit, and gradle.,
