As a QA Engineer at FICO, you will play a crucial role in the software development team, working on cutting-edge analytic software for esteemed customers across diverse industries, utilizing the latest technologies and methodologies as highlighted by the Senior Director, Software Quality Assurance. Your responsibilities will include handling QA activities for feature management on Fraud on Platform, collaborating with product managers and user experience personnel to write test scenarios, developing UI and API automation test suites, creating common automation utilities/framework, engaging in manual QA validation activities, evaluating new testing frameworks, and maintaining high-quality standards. Additionally, you will demonstrate technical leadership through knowledge transfers, presentations, white papers, and participation in events. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applications Systems Design, or a related field, along with 8-12 years of relevant experience in Automation. Proficiency in Automation, particularly with API and front-end, is essential, as well as the ability to craft detailed test cases covering various scenarios. You should have experience with Java, Junit automation tests, API and UI automation frameworks like cypress and Playwright, automation of REST & gRPC webservice APIs, knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and a quality-first mindset towards code quality and software engineering processes. Familiarity with Agile or Scaled Agile software development, excellent communication skills, cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and product demonstration capabilities are advantageous.
