Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

You are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Software Testing Assurance Engineer to join the dynamic team in Gurgaon. The role will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of software products, particularly in Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS). You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, defect identification and documentation, and close collaboration with development and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - **Test Planning And Design**: - Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Develop and maintain test scripts for manual and automated testing. - Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact. - **Test Execution**: - Execute manual and automated test cases, meticulously documenting test results. - Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing. - Conduct API testing using relevant tools. - Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or TestRail, providing clear steps to reproduce. - Collaborate with developers to understand and resolve identified issues. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium. - Contribute to the automation framework and identify areas for automation. - Analyze automation test results and identify areas for improvement. - **Team Collaboration and Communication**: - Work effectively within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and potential risks. - Provide timely and accurate test reports.
