As a QA Engineer at Beghou Consulting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through a variety of testing methodologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing software testing encompassing functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing, utilizing both Automated and Manual approaches. - Documenting software defects in the issues tracking system and effectively communicating issues with the development team. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of testing methodologies and expertise in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies. - Having experience in testing web-based and mobile applications/platforms, including IOS and Android. - Maintaining test cases and test results in test management systems. To be successful in this role, you will need: - 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in the QA domain. - Advanced knowledge of system development lifecycle, methodologies, and testing practices. - Solid familiarity with manual and automation testing tools for Web & App products such as Selenium and Appium (a plus). - Expertise in applying testing concepts like unit, system, regression, product, integration, and acceptance testing. - Working knowledge of Relational databases like MySQL and SQL Server (a plus). - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
