Job Summary

Were looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join the Murf AI team and help raise the bar on product quality. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for testing Murfs productsfrom new feature releases to ongoing enhancementswhile also ensuring our platforms meet digital accessibility standards. This includes proactively identifying potential failure points through various data models, championing test automation where possible, and acting as the ultimate gatekeeper before any feature goes live.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare test design templates and test plans and perform hands on testing, with a natural ability to deliver on short timelines
• Document test cases and track issues in Murf AI Studio.
• Work with Developers, product managers, support team, and other functional team members to understand the requirements and determine required scope of testing
• Collaborate with different functional groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in CS or other related fields
• 3-4 years of experience working and testing software applications
• Basic knowledge of HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS and JavaScript and browser behaviour
• Good understanding of white/black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
• Experience working with trackers such as Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla/ etc.
• Ability to find the root cause of open production support tickets quickly
• Debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes as a subject matter expert
• Ability to influence the development team to fix backlog bugs by clearly articulating the problem
