Software QA Engineer II

As a QA Engineer, your role involves evaluating the quality and reliability of software solutions for financial management and accounting processes. You will collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure the software meets the highest standards of accuracy, functionality, and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements and ensure accurate implementation. - Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members to validate deliverables against specifications. - Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking tools and work closely with development teams for timely resolution. - Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks to streamline the testing process. - Maintain documentation of test results for debugging and software modification. - Coordinate with the business to understand reported issues, requirements, and expected behavior. - Test integration with other applications using APIs. - Continually learn quality best practices and technologies. - Provide estimates for own deliverables. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field. - 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. - Experience with front-end web applications using technologies like Php, Angular JS, NodeJs, Grunt, Jasmine, etc. - Solid experience in writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Summary reports. - 3+ years hands-on experience in development, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts. - Good understanding of exploratory testing practices. - Knowledge of industry standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/Azure, Zephyr/HPQ). - Expertise in Automation development Frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, etc. - Experience with mobile automation tools like Appium, Browser stack, etc. - Exposure to platforms like IOS, Android & macOS. - Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, KARATE framework. - Solid understanding of Agile development.,
