As a Telecom BSS Solution Designer/Architect, you will be responsible for working on a specific Sub-Domain under BSS in a project, translating requirements into a solution vision, system specifications, and implementation tasks aligned with the overall IT strategy and architecture. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with Open Digital Architecture, TMF, and Open APIs while solving business problems using enterprise standards. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the business to shape future product direction and technology capabilities, understanding Sales/CRM processes for both B2C and B2B, and having O2A experience in solution design. You will be accountable for requirements sign-off, requirements management, and scope assessments based on technical and budget constraints. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural discussions, estimation processes, and the production of E2E Solution Design Document. You will work closely with Business Analysts and development teams to produce Functional Specification documents and supervise/ review deliverables for projects. Your role will involve verifying technical specifications against the solution design, managing technical issues/queries, and aligning the Technical Solution with project requirements. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the E2E Solution Design remains up to date and aligns with the deployed solution. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of software principles, experience in Digital Transformation, and proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, draw.io, and visio. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of Open Digital Architecture, TMF Frameworks, Open APIs, UML design principles, and experience in working with technical teams and third-party vendors. Strong communication skills, decision-making abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the software life cycle are essential for success in this position. If you have a degree in IT or related field, industry qualifications, and relevant vocational training/experience, coupled with a broad understanding of multi-tiered IT infrastructure and software process models, this role presents an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your expertise and contribute to the success of projects.
