Your role will involve designing and developing sophisticated systems and software solutions based on customers" business goals to enhance their ability to access and manage large amounts of data. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build solutions to complex technical problems on Isilon OneFS, focusing on high scale, concurrency, and performance to improve customer data management capabilities. - Provide technical leadership within a scrum team, sharing experiences and skills to enhance team members" professional growth. - Influence roadmap with leadership skills, contributing to a culture of quality across the engineering organization. - Demonstrate effective communication skills to create detailed designs and high-quality implementations. - Stay updated on new technologies and apply them to new product releases and customer support scenarios. **Qualifications Required:** - BS in Computer Science or related technical field, with 8-12 years of industry experience in network or storage protocols, Windows systems software development, or related fields. - Expertise in system software development using C or C++, with additional proficiency in Python preferred. - Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and the Windows operating environment. - Experience with distributed software systems, network file systems, or object protocols like SMB, NFS, or S3 interfaces is highly desired. - Any experience with Antivirus software development and scanning is a plus.
