The successful applicant for the role will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive water resource management studies for mining projects, from conceptual design through to implementation and optimization. You will utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to predict water-related risks, evaluate mitigation measures, and enable data-driven decision-making for clients. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating mine tailings dam integrity, conducting hydrological studies, analyzing storms, undertaking hydraulic computations, and engaging in hydraulic simulations to estimate floods and assess risks. Additionally, you will lead the team in designing water management infrastructure for mines, providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers, preparing detailed reports and documentation, and executing project management responsibilities. The Software Architect 3 is a technical leader responsible for ensuring that the technical designs for the software components are suitable, well-documented, and aligned with the product roadmap, business goals, and technology strategy.
