Software Installation & Commissioning Engineer

As a Software Installation & Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and commissioning of systems at client sites. You will work with Ubuntu/Linux environments for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Your key responsibilities will include configuring and managing systemctl services, performing basic Linux commands for diagnostics, configuring IP addresses and netplan networking, and using remote access software for support and monitoring. Additionally, you will collaborate with the senior technical team for efficient site installations, provide network connectivity checks and troubleshooting, and document installation processes and site reports to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Networking, or related field - Freshers are welcome with hands-on academic/project experience with Linux/Networking preferred Skills & Knowledge: - Ubuntu/Linux (hands-on experience preferred) - Basic networking concepts (IP, switches, routing basics) - Ubuntu netplan configuration - Systemctl services & process management - Basic Linux commands (ping, ls, cd, system monitoring tools, etc.) - Remote access tools (AnyDesk, SSH) - Good communication and problem-solving skills - Willingness to travel for site jobs (expenses covered by company) Additional Advantage (Good to Have): - Basic knowledge of Python scripting for automation or system tasks In this site-based role, you will gain hands-on training and mentorship from senior engineers.
