Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer - QA

Role Overview: As a QA Engineer at Cabot Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for both manual and automation testing. Your primary duties will include understanding client requirements, assessing risks, preparing test reports, creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, coordinating QA activities, providing regular status updates, and automating regression cases. You will also handle multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the requirements and seek clarifications from the client - Identify and assess risks - Prepare test reports - Create test cases - Execute tests, report bugs, and follow up until closure - Coordinate QA activities in the project - Provide regular status updates - Automate regression cases - Handle multiple projects at the same time Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in automation tools, Selenium, API Testing, Load & Performance testing, SQL, Manual Testing, and Agile Methodologies - 3-7 years of experience in Manual and Automation testing - Exposure to tools & processes for testing - Automation experience, with a preference for Selenium/Cucumber - Excellent Oral and Written communication skills - Knowledge of Basic SQL - Familiarity with Java/C# languages - Experience in Rest API testing (Added Advantage) - Experience in Security and performance testing (Added advantage) Please note that the work location for this position is Kochi and it is a Full-Time role.
