Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer

You will be responsible for working with the development team to develop, implement, and manage database models for core product development. This includes writing SQL database views, tables, and stored procedures to support engineering product development. Additionally, you will design and maintain SSIS, T-SQL, and SQL jobs. You will also be involved in developing and maintaining complex stored procedures for loading data into staging tables from OLTP and other intermediary systems. Designing partitioning of the database for Archive data is also part of your responsibilities. It is essential to ensure that best practices and standards for tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Excel Power Pivot/View/Map are incorporated in Data Analytics solutions design. Documentation of complex processes, business requirements, and specifications is also a key aspect of this role. You should have experience in database design, normalization, query design, and performance tuning. Proficiency in writing complex Transact SQL code, MS SQL Server query tuning, and writing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers is required. Experience in working with Indexes, column store index, SQL server column storage, Query execution plan, and providing authentication and authorizations for the Database is crucial. Developing best practices for database design and development activities, database migration activities, and possessing strong analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.,
