Software Engineer(SDET)

As a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a passion for building robust, scalable, and efficient test automation solutions, your role will involve designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automation test strategies for microservices-based applications. You will play a critical role in maintaining code quality and system reliability in CI/CD pipelines by owning both manual and automated quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop robust automation frameworks using Java and Python to test APIs and web services. - Design test plans and write test cases for microservices using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Testerman, and Karate. - Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Perform API testing (manual and automated) for RESTful services. - Conduct performance testing using Apache JMeter. - Collaborate closely with DevOps to validate applications in Dockerized and Kubernetes environments. - Troubleshoot, log, and document defects and improvements across cloud-hosted services, preferably AWS. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in test automation. - Proficiency in Java and Python. - Experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, and Testerman. - Strong background in API testing (automation + manual). - Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter. - Familiarity with CI/CD processes. - Knowledge of AWS services. - Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
