Job Description

**Role Overview:** As an integral member of the team, you will work with seasoned engineers to architect, compose, and develop Enterprise Switches. These switches are continuously evolving to support newer and exciting customer business paradigms. You will have the opportunity to interact and work closely with a talented pool of individuals in the industry, making work both fun and challenging. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understanding software system specifications and developing sophisticated test plans - Utilizing strong programming knowledge in Python/C/C++, git, AI/ML for developing modular and scalable automation to meet functional/solution requirements - Implementing CI/CD, Jenkins, Test-driven development, and a Test as a service approach with flexible and modular automation - Experience in configuring/fixing Protocols such as ISIS/OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, SegmentRouting, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & OpenConfig Yang Models **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in understanding software system specifications and developing sophisticated test plans - Strong programming knowledge in Python/C/C++, git, AI/ML for developing modular and scalable automation - Experience in configuration/fixing Protocols: ISIS/OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, SegmentRouting, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & OpenConfig Yang Models - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (MS preferred) - 10-15 years of proven experience as a software test engineer in computer networking **Additional Company Details:** At Cisco, the focus is on revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
