Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer- DataScience

You will join the Data Science team at BOLD, where you will utilize your analytical skills and business acumen to provide valuable insights to the Product and Management teams. Your primary responsibility will involve leveraging extensive user data sets to drive product development, enhance current products, and identify relationships within the data to develop new products. The Data Science department at BOLD focuses on discovering patterns and trends in datasets, creating predictive algorithms and data models, improving product quality using machine learning techniques, providing insights to other teams and top management, and utilizing data tools like Python and SQL. This team collaborates with various vertical teams such as Engineering, Portals, BI, Product, and Legal on projects that involve natural language processing and machine learning, including resume parsing, ranking, summary generation, data quality and scoring, job recommendations, and more. Your role will involve working on data science projects encompassing predictive modeling, NLP, statistical analysis, machine learning, and more. You will use the rich user data sets to conduct research, develop models, and collaborate with Development & Product teams to create data products. Additionally, you will work on developing scalable data systems using machine learning techniques to enhance user experience, experiment with different Large Language models, and improve the job seeker experience through agentic workflows. To excel in this role, you should have knowledge and experience in statistical and machine learning algorithms, proficiency in Python, experience with backend technologies like Flask/Gunicorn, and familiarity with open-source libraries such as Spacy, NLTK, Gensim, and deep-learning libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch. You should also be a keen learner, have experience with prompt engineering and vector databases, and ideally be familiar with Langchain and/or Llamaindex. Experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), deploying models using tools like Jenkins, and understanding career/recruiting domain taxonomies like O*Net would be beneficial. The ideal candidate should have at least 2.5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or 4.5 years as a Senior Software Engineer.
