Key Responsibilities: - Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions - Work within a feature team to engineer complex software, scripts, and tools, collaborating with engineers, architects, and business analysts - Produce high-quality software that adds value to the business rapidly - Collaborate with permanent teams on the full software development life cycle, from initial development to replacement or decommissioning - Design, test, and implement working code across the life cycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and operations - Optimize software engineering capability through collaboration Qualifications Required: - Minimum eight years of experience in PySpark and AirFlow, with proficiency in AWS data engineering ecosystems like Athena, Glue catalog, S3, and EMR Serverless - Background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and understanding of customer support - Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis - Proficiency in multiple programming languages or low code toolsets - Familiarity with DevOps, Testing, Agile methodology, and associated toolsets - Ability to solve highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems - Implementation of programming best practices focusing on scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance Role Overview: Join NatWest Digital X as a Software Engineer specializing in PySpark and AWS.
