Software Engineer (PHP)

You are an experienced PHP developer with 4-8 years of experience and a specific expertise in CMS platforms like WordPress and Magento. Your role at Synapse involves designing and implementing attractive and user-friendly websites using your good understanding of the software development lifecycle. You are expected to excel in a time-critical environment with a go-getter attitude for delivering high-quality work. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understanding and implementing SDLC and Agile methodologies in software development - Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, Custom Plugin development, Magento, and strong content management skills - Creating parent-child parallax themes, plugin customization, and deploying plugins in the market place - Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery - Developing user interfaces for websites and web applications with responsive designs - Familiarity with debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome inspector - Ability to work on CSS changes for consistent style across platforms and browsers - Experience in interacting with RESTful APIs in formats like JSON, XML - Proficient in code deployment pipeline and making clear, timely decisions in complex situations - Balancing conflicting priorities and changing demands effectively **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or MBA - Expertise in Core PHP, good eye for aesthetics, and knowledge of MVC design patterns - Familiarity with CSS changes and their impact on consistent styling - Ability to work with RESTful APIs and formats like JSON, XML You may also have exposure to other CMS platforms, Magento 2.0, or PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc. Location: Indore / Pune / India If this opportunity excites you, please email your resume to career@thesynapses.com.,
