As a Software Engineer - Networks & Schemes - Authentic at NCR Atleos, you will be part of a global technology company dedicated to creating exceptional self-service banking experiences. Your role will involve optimizing branch operations, improving efficiency, and maximizing self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality large-scale applications that meet the increasing demands of availability, reliability, security, and performance to ensure an optimal consumer experience. - Implement business functionality and optional/regional features using the Authentic Product extension points. - Collaborate with technical architects to understand functional and non-functional requirements for the correct implementation of feature sets. - Represent stakeholders during Product Increment planning to assist teams in translating requirements into user features and stories defining the expected system behavior. - Work with Professional Services and end customers as interface releases progress through UAT to Production. - Define test cases, execute automated regression tests, and provide project-specific fixes for defects detected during UAT within tight timeframes. - Thrive in an accelerated environment and deliver results effectively. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or Engineering. - Good understanding of ISO8583 message format, types, and scheme implementations. - Experience in implementing and delivering scheme mandate updates. - Knowledge of Agile development practices, methodologies, and tools. - Outstanding communication skills with the ability to understand and abstract complex systems. - Ability to comprehend complex business and technical issues to influence decision-making. - Experience working on large products for external enterprise customers. **Preferred Experience:** - Familiarity with ISO20022 message format. - Proficiency in Java technologies. - Experience in containers and cloud deployment. - Background in working on high-volume transaction systems. - Exposure to Product development and deployment across multiple institutions.
