Role & responsibilities

Role:

This role focuses on deploying, monitoring, and maintaining ML models in production environments. It does not involve model training or LLM fine-tuning.

Core Responsibilities

Operationalize ML models using Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
Develop APIs and inference pipelines for scalable model serving
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows
Ensure monitoring and observability with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor
Maintain compliance, versioning, and governance for all deployed models
Automate deployment, testing, rollback, and retraining processes
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and DevOps teams in an Agile setup
Write clean, testable, and maintainable Python code for production systems

Required candidate profile:

Strong Python skills (production-level ML/AI systems)
3+ years in software/backend engineering roles

Hands-on experience with:
Azure ML, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Registry, Azure Key Vault
Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)
ML lifecycle tools (e.g. MLflow)
CI/CD, version control, and automated testing for ML
Fluent in English (B2+ level)
Nice to Have
Experience with Databricks or managed ML platforms
Knowledge of model drift detection, vector databases, and inference optimization
Awareness of AI-specific security & compliance requirements
