Software Engineer - Java/Angular

The role requires a self-motivated individual with software engineering skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for leading hands-on software engineering activities, such as POCs, design, documentation, development, and testing of new functionality. Flexibility is key as you may need to switch tasks based on team needs. This is a hybrid position, allowing you to work both remotely and in the office. You are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. For basic qualifications, a Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience is required. Preferred qualifications include at least 1 year of work experience, expertise in Java, familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and exposure to container-based technologies. Experience with Agile development, CI/CD practices, and tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, and JUnit is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential. You should be responsible, self-directed, forward-thinking, and able to work with minimal supervision. Experience working in Agile environments and knowledge of web services standards and related technologies are beneficial.
