Software Engineer JAVA

Job Description: As a Java Developer at Sojojob, your role will involve sharing your expertise and knowledge with junior developers to guide them in the best practices of software development. You will be responsible for reviewing the code of team members to ensure it follows the best practices, coding standards, and design principles. Your tasks will include identifying and fixing complex technical issues, as well as helping the team troubleshoot any arising issues. It will be crucial for you to remain up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry to ensure that the applications are utilizing the most current tools and frameworks. Additionally, you will create and maintain technical documentation such as design documents, flowcharts, and data models. You will actively participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization processes. Your role will also involve assisting in deploying Java applications to various environments, monitoring and maintaining applications in production, addressing performance issues, and ensuring scalability. Troubleshooting and resolving production issues will be part of your responsibilities, and you will collaborate with other team members as needed. You will present technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Taking initiatives in defining or updating best practices, guidelines, and checklists will be expected. Embracing changes in requirements and priorities as Agile values responding to change over following a rigid plan is essential. You will work in a Scrum/Kanban team environment to size and plan the requirements.
