Software Engineer IV-Java Full Stack Lead

As the Java Lead Developer at our Hyderabad, India location, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of point of sale systems. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, system performance scaling, and problem-solving using the latest software development principles and technologies. This role will involve understanding requirements, enhancing existing software, and developing microservices for Digital Retail using Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Cloud technologies. Collaboration with Engineering teams to develop back-end APIs supporting thousands of transactions and Next-Gen Products will also be a key aspect of this position. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree preferred) - 10+ years of experience in product design and development - Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals - Proficient in development, debugging, and troubleshooting - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in teams Desired Skills: - Experience with Microservices architecture - Proficiency in testing microservices and integrating with DevOps CI/CD pipeline - Familiarity with Containers such as Docker, grpc, Redis - Database design experience - Knowledge of Pub/Sub architecture and design best practices - Agile Scrum methodologies - Cloud development experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations - Familiarity with GCP Cloud development At NCR VOYIX, we are committed to diversity and inclusivity across all aspects of our organization.
